Cousins Ty Morris (10) and Joseph Bradley (9) Both fishermen live in Savannah, Georgia and they had a blast inshore fishing with Captain Tommy Williams of Miss Judy Charters. They were celebrating Ty’s 10th birthday!

While fishing with Captain Tommy Williams of Miss Judy Charters this group, which was part of the group that was sponsored by Mingledorff’s, Inc.
They had seven boats booked. All captains on all boats inshore and offshore caught an amazing amount of fish! I haven’t got all of the pictures nor the names...but I wanted you to see this picture!

    Inshore Fishing Report
Well, I don’t have to tell you that it is that time of the year where inshore fishing is normally pretty darn good. However, no matter what there could be days where the bite is just not right. But then that is why they call it fishing and not catching. I have fished for many years (over 50 years) and still I scratch my head sometimes on the why’s and the wheres of these darn fish. But not for one moment did I ever give up! So you don’t either.

    Best inshore baits!

It is no big secret that live shrimp works like a charm at least most of the time on these crazy inshore fish. So before heading out if you can purchase some or catch your own I suggest spending a little time doing this. For those that want to purchase some live Shrimp Hogan’s Marina/Joey’s Bait House are open most of the time! 912 897 3474 or 912 657 9484! Captain Kevin Rose of Miss Judy Charters Keith McClure Jefferson, Georgia What was the scenario did Captain Kevin use when targeting this red fish on a very windy fish day? According to the story told Captain Kevin firstly he was using live shrimp as bait rigged under traditional adjustable mini floats. And Secondly, he looked and found a pocket of clean water!

Please meet Robert and Cindy Adkins Pembroke Georgia! While fishing with Captain Garrett Ross of Miss Judy Charters the caught quite a few keepers and releasers!

    Inshore Adventure
We have had some crazy blowing wind that has prevented us, for which seems like an eternity, from being able to fish offshore. Although I really enjoy the fight of offshore fishing I am excited to learn all I can about inshore fishing. I recently got the opportunity to go on an inshore fishing adventure and had a great time. We headed out at 8:00am on a beautiful, crisp fall day. We threw the net on some shrimp and in no time, the bait well was full, and we were off to check out many fishing holes. While we fished, the tide was going out; slow at first, which offered a nice drift, good water clarity and some fish action. But as the day went on the tide really got moving and the fishing slowed down. With the new moon, the tides move out much faster than normal. It was a great day that brought us into the trout and flounder and it was great to get the fishing lines wet and get some salt air back in my lungs!

Cindy Adkins Pembroke Georgia is holding the swimming end of a trophy red fish. And Captain Garrett Ross of Miss Judy Charters is assisting. Now here the thing...Cindy caught this nice trophy red fish on a small finger mullet, which she fished right on the bottom. Cindy asked her husband Robert to please take a picture of her fish. As you see Robert, Cindy husband did as requested. However, as you can also see Robert didn’t include the tail, which by the way did go over too well with Cindy, but they are working through it for sure! After a grand conversation with fisher Cindy in regards to Robert’s inability to get her trophy red fish’s tale in the picture as she walked away I noticed the back of her t-shirt...and see for yourself...

Captain Garrett Ross of Miss Judy Charters pointed out Cindy Adkins Pembroke Georgia t-shirt. On the back it read...see the above picture...and on the empty lines Cindy said, “Give my husband picture taking lessons! And then maybe next time Captain Garrett shows her the way to a big trophy red fish bite, her husband Robert will get the complete picture of her fish. This means the head to tail!
