Bass fishing is fair. Colder temperatures have slowed the bite down. Fish in the to a crawl, I fished a bit Sunday evening in the creeks up the hooch and managed to get a few bites on Rat L Traps where there is some clearer water. Hydrilla will be a major player, especially the outside edges adjacent to deeper water where jerk baits, wake baits, creature baits and Senko’s pulled slowly off the mat and letting it slow fall should work. Use the Lowrance technology and get out on the drop offs, ledges and deep points and work a jigging a spoon or crawl a Zoom lizard on a Carolina rig. There was some vegetation that hadn't died off from the cold which seem to be holding quite a few small fish. With a cold front headed down south, the water temperatures should drop.
