LAKE SEMINOLE IS DOWN .7FEET, CLEAR & 50íS

Bass fishing is slow. Use a variety of lures from Senko's to crank baits and all sorts of worms with little success. The best bet is to work any old brush piles in 10 to 12 feet deep. Try flipping the reeds and hyacinths around points mid lake but most of the fish are small. The big fish do not react well to severe cold fronts and winds. Try a Senko with no weight and let it fall with the hook in the center of the bait. Watch your line for the strikes. Spoons are great all day baits and the Lowrance Sonar can help you find them. Use the 200 kHz and the 455 Down beams and this Down beam is much wider and a lot more powerful. You can see the bass on the bottom, so drop the bait to them.

We have another very cold weather front this week. Air temperatures are very cold and the fish will react to the weather by not feeding and relating the heavy structure with the very cold temperatures and high pressure. Any warm water you can find can have active bass. They still have to eat.
Hammonds Fishing Centers, Cumming Georgia manager Tim Hawkins has 7 great products to help knock down some cold weather. Gill Simms Jackets for $299.00 and Gill for $199.00 Bibs, Gill waterproof gloves for $44.99, Gill Performance Fishing Gloves for $25.00, Simms Beanies for $29.00 and Gill Face Shields from $29.00 to $32.00.
