  • Richland Chambers Fishing Report - TX

We wish there was more to report from RC, but this past week we cancelled all but one trip due to the Wind and Cold. However the one trip on Tuesday was a good one with a Dad and Son Combo from Dallas catching some really nice Blues and having a ball doing it! Joe and Chris Reedy have always fished with me in the Winter and were able to get a trip in before Chris headed back to UT at Austin for the Second Semester. Once again we worked the timber on the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake and caught some of the consistently larger Blue Cats we find once the Wintertime Cold lowers the water temperature.

Adam and I have a Two Boat Group Trip on Monday MLK day and then it looks like another Cold Front coming in that will keep us off the Lake a couple of days. However, by Friday & Saturday the temperatures are back to near 60 degrees and we are open for anyone wanting to get out of the house and join us for a day of fishing! We have plenty of Weekday openings in January and February and even a February Saturday or two with a boat available. Also, our WINTER SPECIAL OFFER is in place thru February! Give us a call and Let's Go Catchin'!

    Get use to Change

As we have all seen the days of fishing our local lake with you and few other fishermen have turned into high pressure lakes and has changed drastically over the past few years; going to your local lake or a top-rated reservoir has frustrated many of the best of fisherman. The... read more

    Make Some Changes

As the summer moves on to the fall of the year, changes may make you change, and some changes do not. The one big similarity of summer to fall is the mid-day heat leaving the water temperature to sore like its summer time. This factor alone makes early fall fishing extremely... read more
