Bass fishing is fair. Mid lake has been the best area to start this as the water is very clear. Use the Netbait finesse worm and a ¾ ounce Strike king Football Head jig as some fish are up shallow later in the day. Some fish are being caught in the shallows but most fish are in 10 to 15 foot around deep brush pile, old road beds and old pond dams and rock piles. Suspending jerk baits are still working but the retrieve speed has to be super slow. Use the Lucky Craft Staysee 90 in the chartreuse shad color. Up lake the water is clear and use the same tactics. With a warming trend, get to the backs of the cuts and creek and find the warm water and the bass and bait will be there. Shad Raps is the shad colors will be working. The past week key was to find deep structure and clear water.
