Bass fishing is fair; Look in the backs of the creeks up lake and them tough to catch. Later each day on rocky points, use crank baits in blues and shad colors. Add the old winter time lure the jig and pig combinations and head into the backs of the major creeks. It’s worth it to find any warm water flowing into the creeks. On the old road beds, points and submerged stumps, use the Lowrance Down Scan technology to spot the old rods and ditches as this can cover four times more bottom than sonar. Also, this technology can see the structure in real life, not two dimensional like sonar. The Bill Norman Little N is working in a stop and go retrieve. The larger Stanley jigs in the 1/2 ounce sizes with brown, dark blue and black combinations. Add the larger Uncle Josh Pro pork trailer and work every limb with this lure as well. If there are any docks close by fish them very well. There are some better fish under these docks and effective use of lures can draw a larger bite. Down lake the backs of the creeks bas are feeding.


Based on the Fish and Gamer Forecaster, the middle morning to one pm is the best period this weekend. After lunch, fishing will be slow.
