LAKE ALLATOONA IS DOWN 5.5 FEET, 60’S, CLEAR

Bass fishing is great. There is no one area that is best right now, even though we suggest the iron hill area to the mouth of stamps creek. No matter if you want top water or drag a worm the lake is on fire. A good number of bass are on bed and will be for the next few weeks. Keen an eye out for schooling fish. These fish only come up for a few seconds. Have a rod with top water with a Spro dawg or soft jerk bait like a big bite jerk minnow. Fish these baits on you best casting reel. The spinner bait and the scrounged bite is also very good. There are tons of buck bass that are running the shore line and are easy targets with Rooster Tail and even night crawlers.

This Bass fishing is from Matt Driver.

This Lake Allatoona fishing guides report for striper and hybrid has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827 6282. www.firstbiteguideservice.com

Line side fishing is good. The spring bite has started. The white bass are starting to move up the rivers. Look for the hybrids and stripers to be close behind. The main lake is still fishing well on both ends of the lake. The better bite has been on small gizzards and thread fins fished on free lines and planner board. The south end of the lake seems to be better for Hybrids. While the north end of the lake seems to be fishing better for stripers and white bass. I look for most of the fish to migrate north in the next few days and start staging for their annual spawn run. Spring is almost here and it's time to get back to fishing. Dust of the tackle charge the batteries and grab a kid and head to the lake, or give us a call at 770 827 6282 and book your spring outing. The bite has started.
