Yesterday was a fantastic afternoon of fish on Lake Guntersville. With Lake Chickamauga giving me a "humbling" experience with a very tough day on Thursday it was nice to get back to reality on Big G and put some quality fish in the boat. We went to some areas that consisted of some deep 8-10 ft. of grass with Producer Swimbaits and lost a couple of good fish at the boat that would have made for some nice pics. Noticing these deeper fish were a little sluggish and spooked from all of the boat traffic from the Splash tournament we then went to some shallow 2-4 ft. of grass with 59 degree water and used 3/8 oz. Choo Choo CCShakers, and with the afternoon being a little warmer than the morning the fish seemed more aggressive. With some nice pics of some solid fish we also had several more solid quality fish to put on a show and come off. It was a great decision to wait until the afternoon to get out and have some fun catching some quality fish. Get out and enjoy it! Mike Carter
