Lake Cumberland fishing report for April 14,2018. The water temp is still in the mid 50’s most places and clearing. The water level is still high but has been falling lately. The striper fishing was good all spring but the last few days has slowed down. Not really sure if it’s water level or clarity but great spring fishing should be right around the corner. The last couple of days 30 feet has been the best depth but as the water warms from 10 ft to surface should be the best.
The trout fishing has been decent below the dam most days with good numbers of small fish but not great numbers of large trout like earlier in the year. It also should improve soon.
A Happy Kid
Hope to see you on the water.
God bless
