The water temp is 80 degrees already and this past weekend was busy with lake traffic. The fishing has been good for most species. Crappie fishing under lights at night has been producing good numbers of fish up in the major creeks. Live minnows or shad u catch under lights usually works the best.
Stripers has mostly spawned so decent numbers of fish are being caught on live alewifes and shivers fished from surface to 30 ft. Small groups actually starting to show up which is great.
All the other bass have mostly spawned and biting pretty good on normal lures fished on points. Looks to be a great summer coming up so get out and enjoy it.
