We were able to get in all our fishing trips this week even though we had some really severe Thunder Storms roll thru on Tuesday & Wednesday that caused some delays, starts and stops to those trips. Fishing was somewhat tough Monday thru Wednesday in the unsettled weather with catches ranging from 22 Fish to 40 Fish per boat, rebounded somewhat on Thursday and we ended the week on Friday with both boats out on a nine person Family Trip and cleaned over 130 Fish! I have a rare Saturday off this week as I had a cancel earlier in the week and could not find anyone wanting to join me for a morning on the water. That's OK though as I get to attend one of the Grandkid's Birthday Party today! 😊
The Top Water bite has kicked in gear most mornings and we're throwing Rat-L-Traps and Tiny Torpedoes to Schooling Fish. It's only going to get better from this point as the Top Water action actually improves as we move into late June and July. After the Schooling slows, we're finding our fish down deep on Slabs and catching them as we always do by bouncing the bait off the bottom.
We have just a couple of days open in June, but LOTS of July & August Weekdays still available. We even have a few Saturdays with a boat open. Give us a call and Let's Go Fishin'!
