Bass fishing is fair. Bass are being caught shallow early around rocky points and main lake hums with a buzz bait early and then go to the spinner baits. Use the football jigs after the sun gets up on deeper wood in the creeks. There are some schooling on long points early and they will bite a top water bait or the fluke bite. Spy baits are also working and use 8 pound test fluorocarbon and see how slowly you can work these tiny baits. Shad Raps in shad and baby bass are working and use light 8 pound test and fish any rocks or bridges.
