Make no mistake about it the lake is going through a tough period, where being at the right place at the right time is key to success. Weíve gotten into a period of extreme late summer heat and its taking its toll on the number of bites your getting. Luck is key to a good day; good days can be had you just have to pull up to the right spot at the right time.

The bait that has been the most successful for me this past week has been Picasso buzz baits, working the buzz bait over shallow grass around deep edges has paid the most dividends. Itís not easy but it does accomplish the task of catching some fish and every now and then itís a fish in the 4 to 5 lb. range; you just must keep moving and looking for some fish pushing bait over the grass.

Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. I have licensed USCG guides available to fish with you. We fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, Boat Logix Mounts, Vicious Fishing, Duckett Fishing, Navionics mapping, T&H marine products, Lews Fishing, Ranger Boats and more.
