  • Lake Allatoona Fishing Report - GA

LAKE ALLATOONA IS DOWN 3.69 FEET, 80S, CLEAR

This Bass fishing report is from Matt Driver.

Bass fish is good. The fish are in a transition period where you have fish shallow, deep fish and in between. Lately for bigger bass we have been going shallow. Small crankbaits like the Spro Little John in lighter color. Target any wood and deep contour changes. Use the all white buzz bait early and be sure to make long casts and stay in the shadows as long as you can early and late. If all else fails the shakey heads and a finesse worm always works wonder for numbers of spots. Use an 1/16, or 1/8 ounce jig head on 8 pound test fluorocarbon line tipped with a green pumpkin Big Bite Squirrel tail worm.

The line side report is from Robert Eidson, First Bite Guide Service.

Line side fishing is good. The lake temperature is starting to stabilize. The bite seems to be as good south as it is mid lake. The last few days we have been marking really good schools of fish from Clarks Creek to Kellogg Creek. Really encourage with what we're seeing out there and we expect one heck of a fall. We still have availability for this weekend. Call me at 770 827 6282 if interested.
