Bass fishing is fair. Most bass are on a deeper, summer pattern, docks and brush piles in deeper water are producing fish, points, road beds and creek channels are also producing fish. Look for the bass to stage on culverts and any drainage where fresh water is coming in. Look for the Fishing to get better, after the first cooling trend.

Striper fishing is fair and they are showing up in the lower parts of the Coosa River and Chattooga Rivers. Some fish are starting to show up at the Cave Hole also.

Crappie fishing is fair and most fish are on deeper brush piles and creek channels ledges. Spider rigging with live minnows is the way to catch these summer fish. Look for the Fishing to get better, after the first cooling trend.
