Adam and I each fished three trips this past week and were fishing for White Bass on all of them. The fish are still on the move as you will catch a few fish on a spot and then have to move to find them again. Sometimes you only move a boat length or two, or maybe move a foot or two deeper on a hump, and there the fish are! If you can find the fish "hugging" the bottom, the bite is always better! Best locations have been Windsock Point, Pelican Island and the Flats. We're catching all our fish on RSR Slabs with a Jig Teaser.
Richland Chambers is about one foot below Full Pool Level and the Creeks are above Flood Level after the recent rains. With all the rain this past week and more on the way, I'm guessing the Spillway Gates may be open soon. It's great to have a full lake again! Normally, the increased water doesn't effect the White Bass or Catfish bite.
Adam and I have Weekday openings late this week and all of next week. We also still have plenty of November openings and even several days available around the Thanksgiving Holidays. If you want to get on the Lake, enjoy some Great Fall weather and catch some fish, give us a call!
