Bass fishing is good and the lake is holding a little more water this week. There is a good top water bite around shad schools. Have a Pop R and a Zara Spook ready. Then use the Carolina rigged lizard in green pumpkin on the main lake humps. Use worms in the Zoom gourd green finesse worm on a Carolina rig. On grass lines the Texas rigged Culprit red shad worm has been fair. In case they pop up use the Pop R in shad for some strikes. The glimmer blue Zoom trick worm is fair. Cast right on the upper river banks and creeks and use bream colored crank baits. The zoom Super Fluke is always a good lure for the brighter sunny days and use the pearl color on a 3/0 Mustad offset worm hook.
