We've certainly had a "Wild Fall" so far with lots of Rain, some Winter Like Cold Temperatures down to the 20's, and then some really nice Spring Like Afternoons in the 70's! During all these weather changes, we've been able to get on the Lake several times a week and LOAD THE BOAT WITH CATFISH! Some days we've had to work a little to fill the Ice Chest and on other days, it has come easy! We've been starting our trips a bit later in the AM to avoid some of the really chilly morning temperatures and on a couple of outings we didn't even start till Noon. It didn't seem to matter when we scheduled the trip as we had Happy Customers leave with plenty of Fish Fry material! 😊
Adam and I are in our Wintertime Pattern of going up the Richland Creek, Fishing the Channels, Timber and Drop Offs and catching all our fish on Danny Kings Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble Hook. This Pattern will probably not change until around March. We're catching Eater Size Blues and Channels and an occasional BIG BLUE! We had one on Saturday that was over 40 lbs. 😉
If any of this sounds interesting to you, give us a call and We'll Catch Some Catfish!
