  • Lake Allatoona Fishing Report - GA

LAKE ALLATOONA IS DOWN 13.56 FEET, 50S, STAINED

Bass fishing is good. The jerk bait bite is getting good with water temperatures in the 50’s and dropping throughout the month. The Spro McStick and McStick 95 in natural shad patterns fished around bluff walls and points at the mouths of creeks is a real productive deal. Use a long rod and a medium tip and 10 pound test Sunline fluorocarbon line, and mix the retrieve up. If the water is stained, the jerk bait bite goes away, slow rolled spinnerbait or the Scrounger. Don’t let cold weather and fronts keep you from fishing.

This Lake Allatoona striper and hybrid report fishing report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Service, 770 827 6282 www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email eidson6260@att.net

Line side fishing is great. The bite this week has been awesome both for numbers and big fish. Anything is working right now. Free lines, Planner boards, down lines and umbrella rigs are all working well right now. All the major mouths of the creeks from Kellogg Creek to Iron hill are holding fish. There is also a good bite out over the river channel from Galts Ferry to Clear Creek. The back of Stamp Creek has also produce well this week. This is the best December bite we have seen in years. We still have Gift Certificates available for Christmas. Call me at 770 827 6282 and we will hand deliver them to meet your Christmas needs.
