Fishing Friends,


Once again there's not much to report as Mother Nature kept us off the Lake on all but one of the trips we had booked this past week. There's no problem catching fish when we can get the trip in as evidenced by Thursday's Trip with the Lewis Family from Rice. We had a chilly, breezy morning of fishing and ended with 47 "Eaters" consisting of 39 Blues and 8 Channel Cats! 😊 Not bad for a February Trip!!! (See Pic)




The Good News is that the plentiful rainfall has Richland Chambers (and all North Texas Lakes) absolutely full, the Creeks are flowing for those White Bass that will have a great spawn, and the timing should be just about right for an AWESOME SPRING OF FISHING!


Here's a few reminders for those of you ready to get back into fishing:


*We're still catching Catfish at this time, but in the next few weeks the White Bass that are currently up the Creeks will finish their Spawning and be easily found on the Main Lake Points, Humps and Roadbeds.


*Crappie will move to the shallows once the water temperature hits the high 50's and low 60's and do their Spawning in March & April.


*While we still have plenty of March thru May Weekdays available, our Saturdays are down to just a few with still one boat available. The Saturday Openings are March 9 & 16 and May 25.


*Spring Break Week is March 11th in most Texas School Districts. We still have several days open during this timeframe.
