  • Richland Chambers Fishing Report - TX

This past couple of weeks have been a continuation of what we've experienced all Winter with good Catfishing on the days that Mother Nature allowed us to fish. We've experienced it all with Major Cold Fronts, North Wind, a little Rain or Sleet mixed in, and on several days we had Fog so thick you couldn't see 50 feet in front of you! In between all the crummy weather, we've had some nice warm days that let us know that SPRING is not far off! The Blue & Channel Catfish will continue to be on their Wintertime Pattern and can be caught in the timber in 20'-30' Feet of Water on Danny King's Punch Bait. We're fishing the Crab Creek and Jones Branch areas most days and our Customers have always managed a nice ice chest of "Eater Size" Cats! We've also had a few of the really BIG Cats caught as the Big Ones go on the prowl and there's always the opportunity to CATCH THE FISH OF A LIFETIME!

Speaking of Springtime, it's none too early to reserve a Spring Break date to get the Kiddos and Family out for the first Fishing Trip of 2019. The White Bass & Hybrid Striper action should kick in gear in late March and only get better in April and May. Adam and I fish everyday except for Sunday and have plenty of Spring Weekdays open now, but the Saturdays are booked up until early Summer! Give us a call and we can arrange a Fishing Trip, reserve a Cabin or Lodge at Fisherman's Point Marina or just answer your fishing questions.

Have a Great Day and hope to see you soon!
