Fishing Friends,
It just doesn't get much better than Springtime on Lake Richland Chambers! The White Bass (Which is our Speciality) are going crazy and can be found most anywhere on the Main Lake. Almost every trip someone catches a Big Ol' Hybrid Striper while we're fishing for the Whites. Catfish are still biting on the wind blown points and reports of Crappie being caught under the Hwy 287 Bridge are starting to come in. It's been like this for a couple of weeks and normally continues right on into the Summertime!
The Lake is in great condition with the Spring rains and is absolutely full. Water clarity is good and the water temperature has climbed into the mid 70's. As mentioned the White Bass can be found all over the Main Lake with the Pelican Island area holding fish most early mornings. If they are not there, then we always check out the Long Arm Branch Point or the Hwy 287 Roadbed and find fish. Some days you rarely have to move to two or more spots to get your limits. We continue to catch most of the Whites on 1 oz. Silver or Chartruese Slabs from RSR Lures.
Adam and I are having an AWESOME Spring and fish everyday that Mother Nature allows. Our May calendar is full and we are NOW BOOKING JUNE AND JULY and encourage you to give us a call or email if you have questions or want to reserve a date. Check us out at www.gonefishin.biz and have a Great Day!
