  • Lake Cumberland fishing report for June 3, 2019

Lake Cumberland fishing report for June 3,2019. The water temp is in the upper 70ís and is crystal clear. The striper fishing has been pretty good the last month considering the spawn and clear water. The summer patterns are slowly becoming productive again. Nice catches of fish are being caught from mid creek to the main lake fishing planer boards from 10 to 40 ft deep. The creeks seem to have more fish but a lot of short under sized fish are mixed I with them. The main lake is starting to produce nice limits also in open water. The best of the year is yet to come when multiple hook ups are common and many short limit days!!

All of the bass seemed to be spawned out and feeding good in early morning many chasing shad to the surface.
Night fishing for crappie has also been producing nice numbers fished u dee lights.

    Tight lines and God Bless

    No Fishing Today

At the age of 5 through 7 this was my power house! It was 31/2 horsepower outboard Evinrude motor. It had a two-blade propeller that thrust it forward at least 5 to 8 knots. My boat was a 12 foot wooden row boat. Yes, it leaked like a sieve! However, even as a young child,... read more

    Flipping Anyone

If there one thing you can count on in fall fishing on a regular basis is clear water, the reason being is generally we do not see a lot of rain; TVA does not pull much current and the water oxygen level is concentrated in different areas of the lake. As the thickness of the... read more
