Fishing Friends,


We experienced a little bit of every type Spring Weather last week as we continued to get some Rain Showers, Wind, Cool Front Temperatures in the 60's and then Mild Summer Like Warm Days in the 80's! Through it all we had a GREAT Week of Catching White Bass, fished everyday and managed to get all our trips in. The White Bass and Hybrids are starting to chase Shad to the surface each morning and we're not far away from the Summertime Top Water action kicking in gear. Right now, most of our fish are continuing to come on 1 oz. RSR Silver Slabs fished in water depths from 10' to 25' feet of water. Check out the South Shoreline near Fisherman's Point Marina for the early morning Top Water action and then move out to the deeper water Points and Humps when the action slows.


Our Customer base goes from mostly Adults in the Spring to lots of Families and Kiddos in the Summer months. When we started our Guide Service 20 years ago we decided we wanted our niche to be "Family Fishing Fun" and we focused on the Kids and species of fish that are easiest for folks to catch. White Bass in the Summertime is one of those species and they're also great to eat!
