Bass fishing is good. The top water bite around hydrilla is good and use a Zara Spook and then follow up with a pearl Senko on a weightless rig. Start off with top water; including buzz baits and Pop R's around hydrilla. Once the sun gets up head to ledges in the 6 to 12 foot range with crank baits and Carolina rigs. First, use the Lowrance depth finder to see if bait fish are in the area. Spend some time riding than fishing but when you find the bait fish, you will find fish. This is where the Lowrance side scanning technology can eliminate water. Rule is, no bait no bass. It is a little slower fishing method and you don't cover water quickly. Use both lizards and worms on your rigs.
