  • Guntersville Is Fishing Great!

The Heat Is On Its Way & I believe the big ones are setting up in some strange off the wall areas. Could it be the flood earlier this year or all the fishing pressure, who really knows and I do know that they are moving and not staying put and that makes it tough to stay on them daily.
Water Temps are creeping up to the low 80s and water is clear in most areas seeing an easy 3-4 feet.
We've been able to catch them shallow , deep and schooling heck we even tried some night fishing so all around its been fun. It was kinda like a weeks vacation, Mike From Ohio was down for the week we hit up Chickamauga for a few days and Guntersville the other days we fished so much I really did get worn out lol I wouldn't trade it for anything it was a great time , and Jeff went out of town for the week as well with family then Shane just took the weekend to himself and now we all are all back in full swing so we will have y'all some more pics next week.

    Heat of the Summer

As always, the hot summer can be very discouraging; not only is it hot but it seems the grass nats can drive you crazy and there are big gapes of time between bites! When it is hot, and the sun is bearing down on you the only thing that takes your mind off the conditions is... read more

    Your Fishing Spot

Sometimes you can just have too many places to fish, too many way points and too many miles of water to travel to get there; don’t try to fish everyone. If you’re not finding fish when that happens you should think about what you have been doing, what type of structure, depth... read more

    No Fishing Today

At the age of 5 through 7 this was my power house! It was 31/2 horsepower outboard Evinrude motor. It had a two-blade propeller that thrust it forward at least 5 to 8 knots. My boat was a 12 foot wooden row boat. Yes, it leaked like a sieve! However, even as a young child,... read more

    Flipping Anyone

If there one thing you can count on in fall fishing on a regular basis is clear water, the reason being is generally we do not see a lot of rain; TVA does not pull much current and the water oxygen level is concentrated in different areas of the lake. As the thickness of the... read more
