Bass fishing is good. They are shallow and they are on docks, sea walls and rip rap rock. Jigs, worms and shallow running crank baits and spinner baits are catching fish. Some fish are starting to show up on secondary points and road beds in 4-8 feet of water. Some bass are starting to be caught on the creek and river channel, ledges also. Bass are scattered and on several different patterns. Flukes, spinner bats and Shad Raps will work.


Crappie fishing is good. and the crappie have moved to deeper brush and cover on the flats and old river channel ledges 8 to 14 feet deep. Spider rigging with live minnows is the way to catch them. Shooting docks with a 1/24 ounce Jiffy Jig is still producing some fish.
