  • Lake Cumberland fishing report for July 9,2019

Lake Cumberland fishing report for July 9,2019. The water temp is in the mid 80's and the water is high for this time of year.

Striper fishing like most fishing is in its summer patterns. Stripers are being caught from 25 to 60 ft deep in major creeks and the main lake on alewife herring fished below planer boards.

Good number of crappie are being caught up in major creeks at night fishing under the lights.

Bass have been active the first couple of hours after daylight each morning on the surface chasing shad in the hollows on the main lake. Gonna be a great summer on the lake try to make it out.

    God bless
