Fishing Friends,


Each year our business slows just a bit in August and then dramatically falls off in September. School is nearing, Football and Hunting Season kicks in gear and lots of other priorities get in the way of catching fish. However, the fishing doesn't slow down as the Top Water bite is happening almost every morning and the lake traffic is such that we often have large schools of White Bass all to ourselves! 😉 The Pictures are from a couple of trips this past week. Almost every fish was caught on Top Water baits and the action was really good! Check out the 309 Flats for the early AM Schooling and then move up the Lake to Points and Humps in 15-20 feet of water and you'll find fish feeding on or near the bottom.


Reports of nice catches of Crappie being caught on Brushpiles and the Hwy 287 Bridge Columns are coming in. Minnows fished in 20' plus of water will get you a few of these tasty fish for a great fish fry!


Adam and I have LOTS OF WEEKDAYS we need to fill in August and September and even have a BOAT AVAILABLE on the following SATURDAYS AND HOLIDAY:
