LAKE GEORGE IS 1.2 FEET OVER FULL, 80S

Bass Guide fishing is fair. The fish are suspended in the deep timber and on the deeper man made brush piles. The active fish are feeding at daylight and dusk. These early and late fish don't last long but have been falling for numerous top water offerings. The bigger fish have been biting a Spro Bronzeye frog or a black Picasso buzz bait, with numbers of smaller fish biting a bone colored Pop R or Spro Hydro Pop. These fish have been positioned on the outside grass lines leading back into the smaller main lake pockets. Points within the grass lines or any isolated clumps of grass have been producing the better fish. The best day bite has been on the north end of the lake. Down south fishing is slow. Try fishing the deeper ledges in the 20 to 25 foot range and the Bass Guide will bite the deep crank baits such as a Mann's 20+ in gray ghost or Fat Free Shads in Foxy Shad. But you will need moving water. When the fish are not active try ripping a Big Bite Baits Kriet Tail Worm in watermelon red or green pumpkin or a ¾ ounce green pumpkin chartreuse tiger Picasso football jig off of the deeper ledges. There are also fish being caught off of the deeper man made brush piles and out in the deeper timber. The best brush piles have been in the 20 foot range. Let the bait soak when you hit any brush or rocks.
