Fishbuster Charters' Captain Dave Hanson reported, "Engle Merz and his two sons, Matt and Max, fished in various spots out to 27 miles west of New Pass with me on Tuesday, 8/20/19. Using squid and cut-bait, the guys boxed five keeper lane snapper for dinner, and released a nice cobia at 33inches that was just shy of the 35-inch legal size. They also released a 14-inch almaco jack, two red grouper shorts, several red snapper shorts, and five barracuda.
1.) Angler Tristen Thompson with a 19-inch black drum, one of two black drum he and his family caught on shrimp is southern Estero Bay on a recent inshore Fishbuster Charter.
2.) Angler Cynthia Thompson with a 21-inch redfish, caught on shrimp and released (due to the moratorium on harvesting reds) in southern Estero Bay on a recent inshore Fishbuster Charter.
