Here's hoping everyone had a Great Labor Day Holiday and you're now looking forward to the completing the Summer and the arrival of my Favorite Time of the Year!!!! I LOVE THE FALL SEASON and I know we still have a few weeks of Summer to deal with, but it won't be long till the cooler mornings and more aggressive fish arrive with the Fall. Right now, the White Bass & Hybrid Stripers are scattered and a bit difficult to find and catch. We are experiencing a little Top Water action most mornings and then having to burn a lot of gas to find the fish. Because of the Thermocline, the fish are shallow and you'll most often find them on Main Lake Points or Ledges in water depths ranging from 10'-20' feet of water. They're not in the deeper water due to the lack of oxygen below the 25' depth where the Thermocline is set up.




Because White Bass fishing this time of year can be challenging, I have begun to put the Catfish Rods and Bait in the boat just in case we can't find the White Bass. Last week on two trips, we did this and ended up with a nice mixed Ice Chest of White Bass and some Blue and Channel Cats. I also have a few Customers who like to fish for Crappie and I normally conduct a few Crappie Trips in September and October.


Adam and I are booked on Saturdays thru October with one exception and we still HAVE A BOAT OPEN ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH. We do HAVE LOTS OF WEEKDAYS OPEN in both months. Give us a call and We'll Go Fishin'!
