LAKE ALLATOONA IS DOWN 5.4 FEET, CLEAR AND 80S


Bass fishing is tough to fair right now with water temperatures near 90 degrees and the lake is low due to drought conditions. Lots of small fish being caught. Some surface activity found but fish are small. The night bite is about the only way to go right now. The jig and jig head bite has picked up some, and a few bass are coming off the drop shot. Mid lake is best right now. Look for rain and cooler temperatures as we need a change. The fish are pretty stressed right now.

Line side fishing is good. The top water bite has been very good this week. The flats at the mouth of Kellogg's has been very good in the afternoon. The bite in the morning has been in the Allatoona Creek arm. These fish will eat almost anything when there up. But our go to bait has been a roster tail. This is probably the best bite we have seen in September in years.
