    Fishing Friends,

The late Summer disappearing act of our White Bass and Hybrid Stripers is not keeping our Customers from going home with a lot of fish filets for their fish frys! As often happens in September as we leave the Summer and wait for the arrival of Fall, the fishing gets a bit tough on RC and this year is no exception. When this occurs, Adam and I get out the Catfish Rods and Danny Kings Punch Bait, "bait out" a few Catfish Holes and proceed to load the ice chest with Blue and Channel Cats! On Friday, I cleaned over 50 fish for the Ladies from Round Rock who joined me for a fun morning and then on Saturday, Adam and I cleaned 177 fish for a Men's Church Group from Ft. Worth. Lots of small throwback Cats mixed in with the "Eaters" made for non-stop action both days! (See Pics)

The Catfish action, size of fish and FUN will only get better as Fall nears, the weather and water cools and the fish get even more aggressive. We're still hoping for some improved White Bass and Crappie action as it usually occurs with the Cool Fronts we will soon have! For now, if you're looking for the Catfish, head up the Richland Creek, fish the Creek Channel or Ridges in 20'-25' feet of water with Danny Kings Punch Bait on a # 4 treble hook. It's best to bait out a few spots the day before with Range Cubes and assure the fish will be there.

    Good Luck and Good Fishin',

    Royce & Adam Simmons
