  • Lake Allatoona Fishing Report - GA

With most days this past week hitting 100 degrees the bite was surprisingly good; hard to imagine but we averaged good numbers and some fair size everyday on the water. The bite certainly got tougher as the sun got higher every day, but I was very pleased with the successful week. Most of the week we stayed in 6 to 10 ft. of water, grass was the key to finding a bite.

ght-Line 3/8 oz. jigs, Missile Bait 48 stick baits, SPRO frogs and Picasso buzz baits most of the week; timing was important for each of these baits to be successful. The bigger fish are buried in the grass, making the flipping bite the best way to find the tournament type bite; we did not flip as most customers I see do not enjoy it.
Come fish with me I have guides and days available to fish with you. No one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great time on the water. We fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, Ranger Boats, Mercury Motors, Boat Logix mounts, Duckett Fishing, Vicious fishing, T&H marine, Power Poles, Navionics mapping and more.
