  • Richland Chambers Fishing Report - TX

It's that time of year when the Cool Fronts that move thru in early Fall turn into legitimate Cold Fronts that take us from Fall to Winter in a hurry!!! This occurred last week as we had some more much needed rain but also some Cold North Winds that took our temps into the 30's for a couple of days and forced us to cancel and reschedule a couple of fishing trips. It's always been our policy to fish only on days we can be safe and have fun and when the North Winds blow in excess of 20 MPH, Richland Chambers Lake can get plenty rough! In addition to cancelling a couple of Weekday fishing trips, Adam and I took a rare Saturday off to enjoy Opening Day of Deer Season and try and put a little Venison in the freezer! 😊

The nicer Fall Days always seem to quickly return and November Fishing can be just as enjoyable and productive as any month on the calendar. The larger Blue Catfish will now begin to show up as the water temperature cools and the Catfish get even more aggressive. We will continue to catch most of the Blue and Channel Cats in the timber along the Richland Creek Channel in water depths ranging from 15'-25' feet of water. As always, we'll be using Danny Kings Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble Hook and fishing on or near the bottom. Be sure and have a net on board as it's almost a guarantee that someone is going to hook into a 20 lb. or better Blue Cat and you'll need to net him!

If you would like to get in on this action, just give us a call or email. You can check us out at www.gonefishin.biz . Adam and I have fished RC since 1994 and we fish everyday except Sunday, conduct trips year around and would love to help you fill the freezer with filets! Give us a call and Let's Go Fishin'!
