  • Richland Chambers Fishing Report - TX

The first couple of weeks in November have been really wild with Cold Fronts, Some Rain, Howling North Winds and a few Great Fall Days sprinkled in with the Cold Ones! Each Year during Veteran's Day Week we offer our Veteran and Active Duty Customers a very special Trip on RC to Thank them for their Service. This year the Cold Fronts and 20 degree temperatures kept us off the Lake in the early week, but we were able to get on the water on Thursday and Friday with some special folks! Vets from the Vietnam and Desert Storm Era joined us to laugh, tell a few stories, and catch a lot of Catfish. I even had the honor of fishing with a couple of Active Duty "Tankers" from Ft. Riley, Kansas who were home on Leave. We had a ball and Adam and I THANK them for all they do for us! (Attached are some Pic of real heroes!)

We continue to catch boat loads of Blue and Channel Catfish up the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake in the timber in water ranging from 15' to 25' Feet of Water. As usual, all our fish are being caught on Danny Kings Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble Hook. (If you're needing some Danny Kings Bait, you can get it at Wooded Acres Bait Shop on FM 416 in Streetman) The Catfishing will continue to be great all Winter and into early Spring. The locations and depths may change a little from week to week, but the fish will be there till it warms in April.

If you want in on this action, give us a call or email and Let's Go Catchin'!
