  • Richland Chambers Fishing Report - TX

Here's hoping you had a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! At Gone Fishin' Guide Service in 2019, we were truly blessed with another fantastic year of fishing with Repeat Customers, and New Customers who are now good Friends! 2020 marks the 20th year of our Fishing Guide Service on Lake Richland Chambers! It seems like only yesterday that I left the hectic pace of the Corporate World after having spent almost 30 years in Meetings , on Airplanes and in Conference Rooms. I can truly say that I haven't missed it at all! I also can say that I haven't worked a day in the past 20 years! You never work at all if you enjoy what you do!!!!

We were able to fish several days last week and had great results on every outing. The Blue and Channel Catfish continued their awesome Winter bite on RC and an ice chest full of "Eater Size" Catfish was the norm. We also had several really large Blues on a couple of trips. The heavy timber in the Crab Creek area of the Lake is holding lots of fish at this time. Danny Kings Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble Hook is the bait to use. We're fishing in 20-25 feet of water and most fish are at or near the bottom.

As we begin a New Year, we look forward to fishing with old Friends and new Customers and showing you a great time on RC!

    Happy New Year!
