I had a great end to the Old Year and an awesome beginning to the New Year as I fished Tuesday thru Thursday this past week with both Regular & New Customers and loaded the Ice Chest with some nice Blue and Channel Catfish! (See Pics) Adam and I had a busier than normal November and December as the weather cooperated much of the time and the fish were on a very good bite. We're now entering our slowest time of the year as most folks think you can't catch fish in the Wintertime, but it's actually the BEST time for Catfish. HERE'S SOME GOOD NEWS FOR THOSE WANTING TO CATCH WHITE BASS OR HYBRIDS THIS TIME OF THE YEAR!!! THE WHITES HAVE BEEN ON A GOOD BITE THIS PAST WEEK AND HOPEFULLY WILL KEEP ON BITING AND WE CAN FISH FOR THEM OR CATFISH OR DO A TRIP CATCHING SOME OF BOTH!


We continue to catch almost all of our Catfish on Danny Kings Punch Bait fished near the bottom in 20-25 feet of water. The Crab Creek timbered area of the Lake hold a lot of Catfish all Winter. The White Bass have recently been caught on 1 oz. Silver Slabs in 30 feet of water off the 309 Flats and Pelican Island areas.
