  • Richland Chambers Fishing Report - TX

    Fishing Friends,

Just two weeks ago, Richland Chambers Lake was almost 4' feet low and there were no signs of any major relief from the moderate drought conditions the Lake Area was in. Well....that's behind us now as 6" and 3" rain events in two consecutive weeks has the Lake Level FULL once again and there were actually 8 Spillway Gates open when we left the Lake on Saturday Afternoon! That's A LOT of water in a short period of time!!! We're all extremely grateful that it happened once again and at just the right time. Conditions are great now for an AWESOME Spring on RC!

All the fresh water didn't stop the Catfish bite as Adam and I fished Friday & Saturday and our Customers caught Blue & Channel Cats in the Crab Creek area of the Lake once again. No major surprises as the timber along the Richland Creek Channel continues to hold Catfish in the 25' foot depth. Danny Kings Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble Hook was the bait of choice.

It's time to reserve your March Fishing Date and get the Family and Friends on the Lake for some SPRING BREAK FISHING! We still have LOTS of Spring Weekdays open but only two available Saturdays in all of March & April are still open. Call us now to get on the calendar and enjoy some time in the Outdoors.

    Hope to see you soon!
