Fishing Friends,


Adam and I kicked off Spring Break 2020 on Saturday as the School Districts In the State of Texas have scheduled this week or next for the time when the Kiddos (And Teachers) get a well deserved pause in the School Year! Most years all the Schools seem to have the exact same week off but this year the calendar works to our advantage with the Break being one of two different weeks. We can accommodate more Families this year!!! 🙂


Looks like much of this week will be warm, a little breezy and a chance of Spring Showers most days. Saturday was perfect as a local area Family (See Pic) fished with Adam. I had a Regular Customer from Houston join me for some Catfishing! Both had a good day and went home ready for a Fish Fry! The Catfish were all caught in the Crab Creek area of the Lake and in 20-25 feet of water on Danny Kings Punch Bait.


We did try the White Bass after getting our Ice Chest of Catfish, but caught only small fish. I believe the larger fish are "Way up the Creek" as conditions are right for their annual migration up the flowing waterways to Spawn. All the recent rain has the Creeks full, the water temps are rising and the Full Moon is now! My prediction is that the Spawn will be complete and we will be catching LOTS OF MAIN LAKE White Bass and Hybrid Stripers by late March!
