Fishing Friends,


Here's hoping that this Report finds you safe and well and adapting to the New World we're living in! As mentioned in the last Report, Adam and I have ceased conducting Guide Trips for the immediate future and just like you are living the Springtime of 2020 in a totally different way. Adam has his plate full as he not only has five year old Seth to keep him busy, but he's the School Teacher for eight year old Callie and ten year old Reese. Adam's better half is a Nurse Practitioner and is staying busy as you would expect.


I wish I could tell you I'm staying busy but there's only so many things you can do at home that fill the time. I've found that watching too much TV is not good and hitting the Pantry and Fridge is already starting to show how bad this can be! Each day I try and call, email or text a few folks from our Church or our Customers to check on them and just chat a bit. Also, we know quite a few Senior Citizens in Retirement Homes that are Locked Down. We slip cards in the mail every few days for them and it's amazing how much a short call or card can make their day a little brighter. I recommend it highly as we normally get more out of the call than they do! 🙂




One other Weekly Activity that is important to us is attending Church on Sunday. We're fortunate that we are a part of a large enough Church in Tyler to have the technology to join others & worship from our home via Computer. Lastly, we hear the Springtime fishing is really kicking in gear on RC! Reports from a couple of our friends who live at the Lake are that the White Bass and Hybrid Stripers are showing up in good numbers and are being caught in all the normal locations (Pelican Island, Windsock Point & 309 Flats). We're hoping to be back on the water in May, but will continue to evaluate the situation on a Weekly basis.
