  • Lake Cumberland fishing report for June 14, 2020.

The summer patterns are slowly settling in the year. The lake going up and down has made for som e slower days of fishing but the quality of fish has been nice. Stripers are being caught on the main lake to mid creek on planer boards fished 10 to 40 feet. Also bottom fishing has been producing good numbers of Stripers mixed in with several smallmouth, catfish and sheep head. Sheep heads are not great to eat but fun to catch.

Crappie fishing has been good fishing under the lights at night in the major creeks. Bass are coming of the nests and very active in the low light conditions.

The river is also producing good numbers of trout when they are generating using Shad and minnows. When the water is off wading is good also.

    God bless
