LAKE JACKSON IS .58 FEET OVER FULL CLEAR 70S

Bass fishing is fair. Head go up in the rivers and work the docks and channel ledges. Use the crank bait in shad and crawfish colors. The Fat Rap and new the Shad Raps in the brown crawdad will work. Use the smaller #5 size for best results. While cranking the channel ledges move up to the larger sizes but the docks and shallow water will work better with the smaller ones. Perch is another great color and it’s just about time for the spots to start schools mid lake. Later on in the day if the boat traffic will allow, move out and throw a Carolina rig six inch Zoom finesse worm in the green pumpkin or pumpkin seed color. Added scent like Jacks Juice in garlic will help the bass to hold on to the bait a little longer so use it often. Some anglers are also using chartreuse dye to color the tail. Always have a pearl Zoom Super Fluke rigged and use it on every stop.

    JUNE 11, 2020

LAKE LANIER IS .46 FEET OVER FULL THE MAIN LAKE AND CREEKS ARE STAINED & 70S

This report brought to you by: Jimbo Mathley Jimbo on Lanier www.jimboonlanier.com 770 542 7764

Bass fishing is good. The majority of our fish this week have come from 20 to 25 feet of water. We have focused mainly on points with brush for the majority of our fish. The brush in 20 to 25 feet deep is now holding more fish and there has been some decent schooling action this week as well. Top water and Swimbaits has been our main pursuit this week and will continue to be for the next several weeks. A variety of baits have been working, and the best baits seem to vary daily. So stay on the move and remain versatile with your lure choices. Want more detailed information on the bite this week including a detailed review of the baits I have been using, presentation keys, and the specific locations I have been targeting? Then you should SUBSCRIBE to my weekly video fishing reports here: https://jimboonlanier.com/jimbos-wee...shing-reports/ I am full for June, but I am booking for July. Here are my open July dates: 15(am), 16, 21, 27, 28, and 30. July is a great time to catch top water and swimbait fish on offshore structure as well as targeting deeper fish with a drop shot. Give me a call and let's fish!

This Lake Lanier Striper report brought to you by Buck Cannon, Buck Tales Guide Service. 404 510 1778

Stripers are everywhere according to my sources on Lanier. I'm on vacation this week and I have been informed that the south end has produced some large fish in the Baldridge area off mouths of coves and working points. When you're electronics indicates bait and just a couple of fish set your down lines a couple of turns off the bottom and drum the bottom of your boat to activate the bite. North end of Lanier has been loaded with stripers in waters 40 to 6 feet deep. Down lines with blue back herring has been the bait of choice. Make sure you have a top water lure ready and when you see them up take your time and don't hurry. Just make sure you throw it in the general area of the splash and work it slow. Remember treble hooks are sharp so make sure of your back swings. Good luck and remember Buck Tales it like it is. 404 510 1778
