It's been a wild week on RC as we had some great early Summertime Top Water action, some challenging calm & quiet days with warm temps, and also some unusual "First Day of Summer" Storms, Rain and Cool Temperatures! Oh well...it's Texas and we've learned to accept the weather, get in the boat and go fishin'! We did just that everyday last week and caught fish! We're not experiencing the easy limits of White Bass we expect in the Springtime, but most outings we manage a nice box of fish and a LOT OF ACTION. (We did so every trip till Saturday when Mother Nature rained on our parade, but it happens!)
The Top Water action should only get better as we move into Summer! We're finding our fish on the South Shoreline and also the 309 Flats and the Schooling Action normally lasts a couple of hours in the early AM. Rat-L-Traps and In-Line Spinners will always catch these aggressive fish! This type of action is fun, very visual and the Kiddos (and Adults who think like Kids) love it!
Adam and I are booked through the remainder of June and most of July. However, give us a call and we'll do our best to get you on the Lake. We do have openings in late July and all of August.
