It's Summer, it's Hot, it's AC time, but it's also still the time to catch some fish!!! 🙂 On our big ol' Lake, the mornings are often breezy and the Lake acts as a big Water Cooler to keep the temperatures pleasant through the early AM. We catch all our fish in the Summer in the 7AM through 11AM timeframe and then our Customers are off the Lake to have Lunch at the Lighthouse Cafe at Fisherman's Point Marina. While folks enjoy a Burger or Salad, we clean and bag the catch and the Fishermen are back on the road around Noon. What a great way to enjoy a Summer morning plus you can look forward to the Fish Fry and enjoying your catch one more time!


The White Bass are still biting and we occasionally mix in a little Catfishing. Best bet is to look for the Whites on Points and Humps up the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake and fish will be found in the 15'-20' depths. As usual all our fish are being caught on RSR Silver or Chartruese Slabs and we use a Jig Teaser to catch them two at a time! It's fast fun action most trips and we almost always have an ice chest full of fish as a reward for our efforts!
