Cumberland River Flow

I'm planning on fishing either Cumberland River or Paintsville Friday, and I was wondering is 6400 cfs to much for Cumberland?

I'll basically be fishing right at the dam on shore (ie wife won't let me have a boat).

Also would scuds work there and if so what colors?

opps ok now it's at 12500 + cfs......let me guess to high and I should be stuck at Paintsville right?

too much water for FFin IMHO.
