White bass starting to run mostly males right now caught around 34 or so nothing real big. But thats ok. There at the mouth of the river. and back towards the lake.

That's good news for white bass fishermen. Were you fishing on foot or from a boat? And, how far above the Goodnight Bridge (Highway 248) were you catching them? Thanks for the encouraging report!
right before the bridge. going to the river on the boat. water is up . Ill be going all week working today though. Ill give a better post wed,.
Is the water muddy? Probably a dumb question but I HAD to ax!
Just went this evening and the water back in the river looks good, the lake on the other hand is muddy. Caught "A" crappie but didnt do any good on the whites. Maybe the cold front turned them off.
