University of Louisville Fundraiser Tournament
It's that time of year again fellas. The University of Louisville L-Raisin' Anglers will be hosting a fundraiser tournament to help our team compete at the national collegiate level in tournaments such as the ESPN Smashmouth, the Arkansas Tech Univeristy Invitational (in three weeks), and the National Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship put on by Fox Sports. UofL does not fund our expenses in these tournaments so it is either out of money we raise through fundraiser events or out of the student angler's pocket. Last year we had Krispy Kreme doughnuts and coffee for the morning and beverages and hotdogs/chips after the weigh in, along with several door prizes from our sponsors given out.
We are looking at March 31st for the date.
Now I would like to ask the fellow fishin.com fisherman what lake they would most likely travel to fish this open tournament. We would like to keep it around here, thinking of the following lakes: Taylorsville, Nolin, Rough, and Barren. We would appreciate your input on what lake you would like to see it on. Thanks,
Eric Hickman Jr.

I like Nolin best of all... What are the entry fee's, time of the Tournament...
Might need a partner to fish with me for this one also...
Re: University of Louisville Fundraiser Tournament
Keep it off Taylorsville and I'm there E. Just kiddin', I will fish anywhere as long as the money goes to a good cause. Get me the info as soon as you decide so I can tell my buddies. -Joey Wasson joe@hardycc.com

Nothing is set in stone yet, but last year we did a $50 fee and $10 optional big fish pot. Payback was 70% and 100% big fish. I'm sure this year's tournament will be something along those lines.
Also, Msgmills, we have several guys that would be more than happy to fish with you if you need a partner, and that goes for anyone out there who would want to take a student angler along with them if they are short a partner.

Rough or Nolin, with Rough as a preference. to break any ties.
Re: University of Louisville Fundraiser Tournament
Eric,
The company I work for will be having a small tournement at Nolin on March 31, nothing big maybe 10 to 15 boats.
I will see what I can do about getting a door prize or two for you guys. You or Scott give me a call when you get a chance, I need to ask you something.

Hey Greg,
I will give you a call this weekend. Hope all is going well for you and you are healed up for this season! I think March is jam packed for me, a tourney every weekend. If you get a chance head over to Bass Pro on Saturday, myself, Scott, Cody, and Clayton will be there working the Fall Fishing Classic.
Got to get rid of this Cabin Fever!!!
Re: University of Louisville Fundraiser Tournament
Rough - 4
Barren - 1
