Headed down this wednesday. If the weather does what the internet says, I feel pretty good about my trip. I feel great anyway just to be going at all... Friends have gotten there sat. has caught one around 6lbs. That was on a colder day too. If you are from AL give me a forcast(shadlips).. And pick a color RED or GOLD????????TRAP or SPOT???????? Thanks...
They are predicting a big warm up, so your timing is perfect. Cordell Spot or Rat-L-Trap not much difference in my book. Red is the color this time of year. Don't forget a suspending jerkbait in natural colors like a Lucky Craft Pointer ..... with long pauses.

We just got back from Guntersville....We fished Wed. afternoon, eight hours yesterday and two and a half hours this morning....We took six people and three boats...We boated five fish in three days nad only two of them keepers...Biggest about 15 1/2 inches....Hada great time, just terrible fishing...I just talked to another buddyu on mine that fished today nad he said that they did not get a bite today....
The five that we caught were all at the edge of the grass-throwing a red/royal shad(lavender back with ivory sides nad red accents)Trap/Spot...Water temps from 52-54.6....
